Inspired by Kristen Hadeed’s Human Leadership: The Courage to Face Ourselves and Each Other, Mirror Moment explores 14 dimensions of leadership.
The first seven dimensions—self-awareness, self-regulation, self-compassion, authenticity, resilience, boundaries, and energy management—come together to reveal your relationship with yourself. The remaining seven—trust-building, vulnerability, courageous honesty, empathic attunement, psychological safety, development, and accountability—reflect how you show up in your relationships with others.
There are no “right” or “wrong” answers to these 70 questions. Your Mirror Moment is simply a reflection of where you are right now. To make the most of it, let go of judgment and give yourself permission to be human. Choose the answers that honestly reflect how you are currently showing up, and you’ll end with a more accurate reflection of where you are today. Then, you can use what you learn to set goals for where you want to grow.

Each of the 14 dimensions represents something within your control that you can adjust as you see fit. Your Mirror Moment is not meant to define you or put you in a box. It simply reflects your journey as a work in progress.

Not at all. While Mirror Moment was inspired by Kristen Hadeed’s Human Leadership: The Courage to Face Ourselves and Each Other, it is designed to stand on its own. However, if you’d like to take your understanding deeper, we recommend that you read it! Human Leadership tells the story of how Kristen learned to lead herself, and it shows what the dimensions, self-work, and growth can look like in practice.

Absolutely! Mirror Moment can be a meaningful experience to share with your teammates so that you grow together. You can invite teammates to join your dashboard and choose to share your reports with one another. If you are leading a team, you’ll be able to see who has completed a Mirror Moment. You can view team members’ reports only if they choose to share them with you.

Growth takes time, and one size doesn’t fit all. In general, we suggest having a Mirror Moment every three to four months to give yourself time to reflect, try new approaches, and learn from your experiences. We also recommend putting a Mirror Moment reminder in your calendar so that you continue to make your growth a priority even in busy seasons!
